Welcome to Sax Made Simple
Welcome to Sax Made Simple – your home for online saxophone lessons, jazz sax courses, and an ever-growing library of tune tutorials designed to help you become a more confident, creative player.
This website is packed with free lessons, resources, and backing tracks, all created to make learning saxophone simple, enjoyable, and inspiring. I absolutely love helping sax players around the world, and I regularly add new free content for both alto and tenor sax.
After many people on YouTube asked if I offered paid courses or a dedicated learning platform, I decided to build this site. Between teaching privately, performing, and family life, it wasn’t easy – but extending my working day made it possible to create Sax Made Simple and share everything you see here.
Running a professional website takes time and investment, and your support through course purchases helps fund new lighting, cameras, and recording gear – so that both my free and paid lessons continue improving in quality.
We now offer a wide and ever-expanding range of in-depth saxophone courses and jazz tutorials. These include full deep-dive series like the 13-video Major Scale and Minor Scale courses for both alto and tenor saxophone. Each course features carefully explained patterns, licks, and improvisation exercises in all 12 keys, complete with backing tracks in every key to help you practise effectively.
You’ll also find a growing collection of tune tutorials, available individually or as discounted bundles – ideal if you want to expand your repertoire while improving your improvisation and tone.
Considering that my private saxophone lessons are £60 per hour, these online courses offer exceptional value for money, giving you hours of detailed, structured, and inspiring tuition that you can revisit anytime.
New courses and tutorials are added regularly, and I’d love to hear your feedback on what you’d like to see next. Your suggestions help shape the direction of Sax Made Simple and ensure it continues to serve the saxophone community around the world.
Thanks so much for visiting – and enjoy exploring everything Sax Made Simple has to offer.
