How to improvise from major to minor

How to improvise from major to minor (for alto saxophone). Backing track included.

In this video, we explore an exciting exercise to help you smoothly transition from a major to a minor key. I'll explain why this technique sounds so beautiful and provide written scales for you to screenshot at the end.

We’ll start with the scales, move to chord tones, and cover several exercises to boost your skills. I'll also demonstrate how to create the track in SessionBand Jazz (Vol.2) and improvise over these chords.

Enjoy!
