Sax improvisation using a ‘1231’ scale pattern

In this video we look at a brilliant scale pattern that you can use both to strengthen your fluidity and knowledge of your major scales and use for improvisational ideas to create a great solo.

We explore two examples of these ideas or fragments and apply them to a backing track. I also rant about scales and how important they are, we look at my piano a bit, I mention dancing around the house, I think about coffee and mention how cool it is to be able to help sax players across the world.
