Absolute beginners saxophone course (for alto and tenor players)
If you’ve never played the saxophone before, this course is designed to take you right from the very beginning and give you a really solid foundation.
Across 8 in-depth videos and more than 5½ hours of tuition, I’ll show you everything you need to get started properly — from setting up the saxophone and producing your first sound, through to playing all 12 major scales, understanding chords and chord tones, exploring minor scales, the Cycle of Fifths, reading music and even beginning to improvise.
You’ll also learn three complete tunes, including Summertime and And I Love Her, and play them along with backing tracks.
